         Dining at Tiroran House Hotel is a special and integral part of your stay and we are remote, therefore we do not normally recommend our location to those who only seek a bed and breakfast type holiday - For these reasons we have a daily changing menu where each menu choice is expertly and freshly prepared by Katie who is classically Cordon Bleu trained and our experienced chef - both of whom have more than 25 years experience. We use a large Aga to prepare and serve the best island, fresh, seasonal and Scottish produce - our kitchen in turn is supported by our well stocked and seasonal vegetable garden and orchard where we take particular effort to ensure that our seeds, compost and gardening techniques are  as organic as possible.

Whist each course is prepared to an exceptionally high standard, dining at Tiroran is not a typical 'restaurant'  experience - instead, whilst elegant in your surroundings, a more a relaxed atmosphere prevails with the emphasis on expertly prepared  fine foods - typical of a country house.

Our dinner menu is supported by a varied and carefully selected wine list 

 When booking we ask if you have any particular likes or dislikes regarding food, and if there is anything that you cannot eat; we then make sure that we have considered your requirements on the menu during your stay. We are delighted to cater for special diets such as vegetarian, vegan and coeliac with prior warning.

From experience we do notbelieve that some young children enjoy the menu choices or atmosphere of Tiroran's dining rooms where dinner is normally served after 7.30pm, therefore we do not normally recommend dining for children under 10.  However, if you feel that your children can thoroughly enjoy the experience they would be very welcome, alternatively, and for resident children we are very happy to prepare an early supper at an agreed rate by prior arrangement.Please contact us for more information. 01681 705232

Breakfast is served from 8.30 - (we are happy to provide some continental options earlier if required and requested the evening before) We have a very good and varying selection of homemade muesli and granolas, fresh fruits, fresh fruit salad, dried fruit salads, fruit juices, yogurts, croissants, muffins, homemade bread and toast, porridge, cereals, teas, coffees and hot chocolate.  Full Scottish Breakfast options are cooked to order along with island Smoked Haddock and Kippers which are all included in the accommodation price.
