TOURS AND GUIDES THAT WE USE ON THE ISLAND

WILDLIFE DAY OUT

http://www.wildaboutmull.co.uk/

Bryan Rains has been a steadfast recommendation by us to all of our guests who are planning a land wildlife trip.  He is excellently patient, knowledgeable and interesting. – this is your chance to watch the nesting white tailed sea eagles that are within Tiroran Forest, local golden eagles, otters and many other land and sea wildlife.

We can always organise this trip for you but would recommend that the trip is booked ahead of your stay.

WHALEWATCHING TRIP

http://www.sealifesurveys.com/

Sealife Surveys almost never fail to give you the whale or dolphin watch you are looking for, August, September and October are particularly fantastic months to consider this amazing experience.

In order to avoid disappointment in this trip being full we would always recommend booking this trip ahead of your planned stay.

STAFFA TRIP

http://www.staffatrips.co.uk/

David Kirkpatrick and his crew never fail to deliver the best possible sea cruise to Staffa island (Fingal’s Cave) and its puffin colony – joining his boat The MB Iolaire either from Fionnphort on Mull (45 minutes drive) or from Iona itself returning you back to either destination.

This trip is one that is weather dependant but we can always guarantee places on the trip made the night before or the morning of your planned trip.

SEA EAGLE ADVENTURE BOAT TRIP

http://www.mullcharters.com/

A fantastic opportunity to photograph and witness this bird of prey feeding on the water, this is a spectacular boat trip that leaves from Ulva Ferry on the west coast of Mull and is a 45 minute drive away.

We recommend pre booking this extremely popular trip in advance of your stay.

TIRORAN FOREST SEA EAGLE WATCH  (also known as Glenisdeir Eagle Hide)

We happily arrange this trip for you whilst you are staying or can alternatively help you to organise it in advance.

A truly magical experience right beside the hotel grounds and the adjoining forest, the magnificent White Tailed Sea Eagles have traditionally nested alongside the hotel for many years and as lifetime partners they have very much become a regular all year round visitor to the skies of the hotel
